Disclosures, affiliate policy and privacy

In one line: we may earn commissions from labeled links on product pages; programs pending. Scam alerts never do. We collect no personal data on this site except what you choose to give the newsletter.
Affiliate programs
When we use an affiliate link, the words "Affiliate link: we earn a commission if you buy" sit right next to it. The link is marked rel="sponsored". A plain, non-affiliate link to the same maker sits beside it. This follows the FTC's guidance that a disclosure must be clear and next to the link. (FTC)

Status: We may earn commissions from labeled links; programs pending. Until a program approves us, product pages link only to the maker's official store.
What we never accept: exchange or trading-platform referrals, payment from any project or token we might cover, paid "reviews," and airdrop or token promotions.
Holdings
J holds Bitcoin and Ethereum. J does not hold the smaller tokens or projects covered here and won't trade on anything before writing about it.
AI assistance
An AI assistant helps with research, drafting and layout. A human (J) reviews every page and every newsletter issue against the cited sources before it goes out, and adds their own commentary. Every page footer says so. We don't use an AI "expert" persona, and we don't create AI likenesses of real people.
Privacy
- This site: no ads, no third-party trackers, no cookies set by us. Our host (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs, such as IP address and user agent, to deliver and protect the site.
- Newsletter: the email address you give us is stored with our email provider (Kit) and used only to send the newsletter. Every email will have an unsubscribe link and our postal address. We never sell or share the list.
- Affiliate links: if you click one, the retailer may set its own cookie to track the referral. That's covered by the retailer's privacy policy.
